Tours in Thailand. What to do in Bangkok
Anyone who decided to visit Bangkok during their stay in Thailand can be sure that disappointment will not befall him. The first thing that catches your eye, or rather, annoys the sense of smell receptors is a riot of odors. All sorts of aromas accompany everywhere, chasing literally on the heels, and after a couple of hours, a bouquet of fragrances from fried fish, nuts and dried squid does not seem so stunning.
If you do not take into account all the “incense” that comes in the nose to an unprepared traveler, then you need to recognize the fact that Bangkok is really mesmerizing. Not every country can boast of such a myriad of impressive sights, which is probably why the reviews of tourists are so eloquent. Many people compare Bangkok with Singapore and Shanghai, seeing in it something between these Asian cities. Indeed, this is so. The stylistics of Singapore, seasoned with the cosmopolitanism of Shanghai – and here you have Bangkok in all its glory.
Dreaming only of a beach holiday with a glass of cocktail, going here does not make much sense. An excursion for one or two days will not be remembered by anything except the constant running around from one attraction to another. It takes an average week to form an opinion about this stately and diverse city. Then all that is seen will be deposited in memory and will not turn into a mixed ball of impressions. To enjoy the beauty of temples in a hurry will be extremely incautious. It will take at least four hours to consider at least the basic nuances of these historical “Atlanteans”, and in the Dusit Zoo you can generally disappear for the whole day.
SHOPPING
A separate conversation requires shopping in the Thai capital. The city has a myriad of small boutiques and shops, as well as high-rise hypermarkets. Of course, you should not buy everything in a row, although many things are worthy of attention. Prices for the same goods may vary depending on the level of the trading establishment, so you should not be scared. It’s better to turn off the main streets and delve into the quarters located farther from the brand centers, and the cost of clothing will already be much more affordable.
FOOD
You can have a bite to eat at any restaurant, it is not necessary to go somewhere specially, especially considering the endless traffic. The menu at catering establishments, as a rule, is practically no different from each other, so you can safely order shrimps and squid grilled right where you hung. The main thing to remember is a magic phrase with a request not to pepper, since the cuisine here is as spicy as in all of Thailand. If you want to visit the cafe on someone’s recommendation, use a taxi – this is the most affordable form of transport in Bangkok.
HOT TOURS
Thailand is on the list of “burning” countries. The ticket can become burning 2-4 days before departure if there are many unsold seats on the flight. Last-minute tours to Thailand are loved by our compatriots, including because a visa is not required.
