VLADIMIR
The center of the region is the city of Vladimir. Its official history began back in 1098. In fact, the settlement on this place existed before. From 1243 to 1389, it was Vladimir who was the capital of Russia. In memory of past greatness today, a large number of attractions have remained: Golden Gate, Dmitrievsky and Assumption Cathedrals. Vladimir ceased to be the capital, but its significance for our country has always been great. Every era, every century has given an architectural and cultural heritage that can be found today.
