Vladimir hotels offer well-equipped rooms of various price categories and services. At your service: availability of free Wi-Fi, comfortable furniture and air conditioning, restaurants with Russian cuisine. Convenient parking is available, which is also important for car tourists.

Today, Vladimir is a regional center and is one of the largest tourist routes in Russia. The city stretches along the bank of the Klyazma, mainly on the left bank, where its old part is located on a hill, which attracts tourists. There are about two hundred cultural and historical monuments. It is in Vladimir that there are monuments bearing the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site. First of all, these are three objects of pre-Mongolian architecture.

GOLDEN GATE
Relate to Russian military architecture. Their construction lasted 6 years, and was completed in 1164 during the reign of Prince Vladimir of Bogolyubsky. In addition to the main defense significance, the Golden Gate was the main entrance to the city. The sheets of gilded copper covering them shone under the rays of the sun and astounded the imagination of all those entering.

USPENSKY CATHEDRAL
It is located on a hill and rises above the Klyazma. We have reached an updated view of the cathedral, which was expanded after a fire in 1185. Galleries were added that ensured the unity of the whole space. The magnificent painting of the cathedral is preserved only in fragments, among them the famous frescoes of Andrei Rublev. The sculptural decor was not preserved at all. The cathedral became the legislator for the construction of later churches in Russia.
DMITRIEVSKY CATHEDRAL
It was rebuilt in 1197 and is famous for its stone carvings. The walls of the cathedral are decorated with 6 hundred reliefs with images of saints and mythical animals. The main part of the thread is preserved in its original form. Some parts have been restored. In the interior, high below the vaults, you can see fragments of the XII century painting “The Last Judgment”. The cathedral looks fabulous compared to similar buildings of that era.

Come to the glorious city of Vladimir! Lovers of antiquity are always welcome here.
